How Does It Work?
This laser hair removal method uses Blend X technology to combine two wavelengths in a single treatment: Alexandrite and Nd:YAG. Single wavelengths may work well for either lighter or darker toned skin, but may prove less effective on others. The combination of two wavelengths provides a more effective treatment, regardless of skin type, and allows for a customized process.
In the laser hair removal process, the laser emits light energy onto the targeted area of the skin. The melanin in the hair absorbs this light energy. The energy is converted into heat, which then destroys the follicles of the hair to halt growth.
Splendor X uses a Dual Cooling System, combining cool air and a cooled tip in order to keep your skin at maximum comfort level during the treatment.

Several treatments are required to truly result in permanent hair removal. You will see less and less hair in the targeted area after each treatment.
You may notice redness or slight swelling around the hair follicles in the area of treatment immediately after the therapy. This varies from person to person.
We recommend that you avoid exposure to the sun and chemicals immediately after treatment.
Who Should Use Splendor X?
Splendor X is generally suitable for all skin tones and types, as well as for all areas of the body with all hair textures. Laser hair removal may not be right for every individual, and does carry some risks, such as changes to skin pigmentation and texture. Laser hair removal is not effective on blond or gray pigmented hair.
It is always recommended that you get advice from your medical provider before opting for laser treatments, especially if you have recently undergone any other procedures. Laser hair removal is not recommended If you have an active infection, inflammation, or a viral, fungal, or bacterial disease. If you have a cold sore or open wound or abrasion in the area of treatment, postpone Splendor X treatment until it is resolved.
